The exception to the rule
Will interfere with the mob.
This basic fray of fools,
We casual slobs,
Will be weighed
And will be measured.
The Scales of Justice tethered
To our own morality,
Being the only compass
By which we create reality
Is malleable, in the least.
Constantly shifting,
Falling and lifting
Rising to meet
A soul, incomplete.
The exception sets the curve
For all humanity.
