Dr. Harper was a talented and dedicated General Surgeon at St. Peter & Paul Hospital. Anyone lucky enough to fall into his caring, capable hands always walked away more than satisfied. Dr. Harper was known for his sense of humor and accompanying thunderous chuckle. Even while he popped shoulders and knees back into their sockets, he’d crack a joke to distract from the disturbing creaking sound of tissue against bone. He was liked by everyone he met, and when he wasn’t working, he was donating his time to one charity or another. Tonight, he was headed to a Christmas dinner, excited to partake in the good times and belly-cheer. But the good doctor had a secret. One which would soon be unearthed by a woman with guile of a fox…
Inspiration for this piece of the puzzle comes from the following prompters:
FOWC with Fandango — Lucky
Your Daily Word Prompt — Dedicated
Ragtag Daily Prompt — Caring
Three Things Challenge #455 – Creak – Socket – Tissue
Word of the Day Challenge — Belly-cheer
Ooh, this is a tad painful sound and intriguing. Does this tie into the first secret finding mission?
